What happens in the Stone Circle, Anyways?

Stone Circle Instruction is a four year study system that handles growth, exploration, esoterics, and education.

The scope of the SCSG is to be an instructional body that can help the uninitiated in esoteric living get started on the path. With a community-first focus, the SCSG is created with the beginner in mind.

An individual may join the Circle with no existing knowledge of metaphysics at large, and will leave the circle ready to move on to more advanced traditions of their choosing.

The Circle is divided up into three sections, populated by four ranks of participants. These ranks, sections, and study subjects will be explored below.

Traveler Rank

The Traveler Rank is focused primarily on the establishment of one’s highest self. Done through an open-ended set of practices known as the Highest Self Studies (HSS), Travelers will be coached through creating and planning the best possible version of themselves through quarterly correspondence.

There is no class limits for the Traveler Rank.

Any are free to join should they want to.

A Traveler must complete at least one HSS dissertation revision before they can be nominated for advancement to the Prospect Rank.

Prospect Rank

The Prospect Rank is focused on preparation for studenthood, geared through the lens of growth and expression. Prospects are coached through challenging their inner barriers, and eliminating self-sabotaging behaviors. This is completed through a twelve-month course of monthly correspondence study known as the Villains Curriculum.

Prospects are organized into classes, which are divided into groups of three.

The class limit for Prospects is twelve individuals in active study.

A prospect must complete the Villains Curriculum before they can be nominated for advancement to the Student Rank.

Student Rank

Students are at the innermost layer of the SCSG. Having established their Highest Self and eliminated their Villains, they begin training in esoteric methods. Divided into four parts, Students are instructed through a two year study course that covers fundamentals in esoterica, linguistic cryptography, the history of occultism, and living in synchrony with the earth’s cycles.

The class limit for Students is three individuals in active study.

Distinction Rank

Those who have completed all four years of study will be granted the title of Student of Distinction. These individuals will have a permanent place within the circle, and will be given the opportunity to help shape the SCSG tradition for future students.

They will also be given the opportunity to train to join the instructional circle as a Junior Instructor, and will be offered financial support in pursuing education in other accredited traditions, spiritual groups, esoteric societies, language schools, etc.

Distinction Rank is a lifetime appointment.
